Our family started a tradition of serving the Shelton community in 1978, when Bob and Alice began Hackney Family Dentistry. Dr. Bob Hackney attended Washington State University at Pullman and Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in Maryland. From the beginning of his career, he continually stayed on top of the advances in dental care. He has taught in the clinical skills department at the University of Washington Dental School, and was a member of the Thurston Mason Dental Society and the American Dental Association. Doctors Travis and Kyle have continued their father’s tradition of excellent dentistry and passion for patient care. They are both members of the American Dental Association, the Thurston-Mason County Dental society, multiple local and regional study clubs, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

We recently updated and relocated our dental practice to a convenient and modern facility near downtown Shelton. You will find our warm Northwest-style building a relaxing atmosphere to learn about your best dental options. We have plenty of parking and are wheelchair accessible.
